William will be one tomorrow! It does not seem possible, one year ago at this time we were counting contractions and debating on going into the hospital. When I think back on that time it amazes me how much Kurt and I have grown too! A friend congratulated us on being parents for a year. I remember some very distinct growing pains: freaking out about William's imbilical cord, struggling with breastfeeding, figuring out how to get him to sleep through the night without having to run around the island in the kitchen jiggling the carseat, learning that at times a party has to end at 6:45, and how to make time for the two of us. It has been a great year together!

ReplyDeleteWilliam is such a sweet baby. I can't believe that he is a year old already! I remember waiting and waiting to hear whether you had gone into labor or not! I remember badgering you and Kurt about what you planned on naming him, you guys did a really good job of keeping his name a secret! You chose wisely though, William is a great name! I can't wait for his party!
